Code Blue

Kudos to Dr. Richard Mabry author of Code Blue a medical romantic suspense. The characters were believable and engaging. I only missed not getting inside the heroes head a little.

Cathy returns to her home town and opens her own private medical practice. She has dreams of success as a general practitioner, but someone in Dainger, Texas wants her dead.

The story opens with someone running Cathy off the road and leaving her to die. But she is a survivor and drags herself from the accident. She is found by Will, her high school sweetheart. Will makes sure she gets the medical help she needs and much more.

To be honest I’ve had a hard time finding a male romantic suspense writer that I enjoy, but Dr. Mabry’s writing was a pleasant surprise. I’ll be reading more of his books in the future. If you enjoy romantic suspense, I’d love suggestions on books you recommend.
