Deadly Pursuit

Deadly Pursuit by Irene Hannon is suspense at it’s best.

Alison Taylor has a soft heart and agrees to help her police-detective brother’s new partner, ex-Navy Seal, Mitch Morgan out of a pickle. Mitch needs a date to attend a wedding and her brother convinces her she’d be saving him from all the single vultures. Since he’s new in town and she has nothing better to do, she agrees. However after making the promise she wishes she hadn’t until she opens the door and meets Mitch.

Mitch can’t believe he agreed to a set up. His new partner gave him a sob story about how his sister was injured in a car accident a year ago and still has no social life. After agreeing Mitch wants to back out, but sticks to his commitment. When Alison opens the door he can’t believe she needed a to be setup on a blind date.

As the title indicates this story is a suspense and it delivers big time. Without giving too much away, I’ll just say that Alison has a stalker. This story is probably one of the best I’ve ever read by Irene Hannon. Of course, I think that after every book I’ve read by her.
