Under the Cajun Moon

Under the Cajun Moon, by Mindy Starns Clark had me squirming in my seat thanks to the swamp setting and not so friendly reptiles.

Chloe rushes home to New Orleans to see her father who was shot. But her plans are thwarted when she is framed for murder and finds herself in the middle of a treasure hunt. When she makes bail an old acquaintance helps her escape the media and subsequently helps her to solve the mystery surrounding her father and his treasure.

This novel touched on forgiveness and understanding how the words we say can have a strong impact on others, whether positive or negative.

I enjoyed Under the Cajun Moon, but don’t recommend it to the squeamish. Of course if you’re a romantic suspense reader you probably aren’t put off by a snake or two. Happy reading.
