Love Finds You in Martha’s Vineyard

Melody Carlson delivers a nice balance between humor and seriousness in Love Finds You in Martha’s Vineyard, with quirky characters that will make you laugh and cry.

Waverly Brennan’s mother purchases the gallery in Martha’s Vineyard and asks her daughter to run the place. Excited at the opportunity of running an art gallery, Waverly leaves her life in Chicago only to discover that the gallery wasn’t what she expected. But things look up when she meets Blake Erikson and his daughter.

    I have a number of Love Finds You books (having written four of them myself, LOL!) and I love collecting the ones I don’t have. This one sounds like another winner. I’m a huge fan of the Mitford Series, one of my all-time favorite series, as well as Redeeming Love, by Francine Rivers. Nice job on your blog!

    I can only name one favorite book? Wow, that’s going to be hard… I will say Mrs. Mike because I have read it so many times that I think I wore the poor thing out. However, I have read some amazing books lately like Promise of an Angel and Wings of a Dream.

    One of my favorite books is Mirror Image by Sandra Brown. But I really have a lot of favorites as I am an avid reader of all genres except paranormal and sci-fi books. I vary my reading from a romance to a historical to a mystery, etc. It’s more fun that way.

    So many great books to choose from, but the book I can go back and read time after time is Sister Chicks Down Under. I’ve even got the series on CDs. I’ve read them all at least once and listened to them also.

    Wow thats a difficult one. The more I read, the more favorites I have. But I think the one I would put at the top of my list is Francine Rivers’ Redeeming Love. And I am enjoying the Love Find’s You books too, and would love to have this one to read.

    My favorite book is Leota’s Garden by Francine Rivers. If you want to read an interesting book, read The Last Sin Eater by Francine.

    It’s hard to pick one book, but I really enjoyed “The Preacher’s Bride” by Jody Hedlund. One of my older favorites is a mother-daughter story by Robin Jones Gun, “Gardenia’s For Breakfast”. I love Christian fiction, its so inspiring and uplifting. I’m not a blogger, just a reader and love learning about new authors and their works. Thank you for the entry in your giveaway.

    Oh wow, I’m so non-commital. I don’t think I can name just one book. I don’t typically re-read fiction books, but I have read “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” and “Skipping Christmas” multiple times. I guess I’m just a big sucker for Christmas stories. There’s just something about that time of year that makes me want to read corny, sappy, silly stories, that I wouldn’t otherwise read!!

    Ohhh, so many to choose from, but right now I’m thinking of one I just passed on to a friend, “Deadline”, by Randy Alcorn…captivating from the start to the finish, and great message! I also like Deana’s choice of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”…I recently read it on an airplane and my kids were mortified because I couldn’t stop laughing out loud in random spurts (apparently I looked like a crazy lady…how embarrassing)!

    My favorite book is any book that can take me away from the rush and craziness of reality. A good read is very valuable. In response to some of the above comments, I too loved, The Best Christmas Pagent Ever. I also enjoy Deanna Gist and I am looking forward to reading her latest. Humor is an important part of any story.

    I have so many favorite books I can’t pick just one! I find myself mostly drawn towards historical fiction. I recently read “Prayers for Sale” by Sandra Dallas and fell in love with her storytelling. The author I find myself most anxiously awaiting a new book from would have to be Jane Kirkpatrick. I would be remiss though to not to mention one of my favorite series of books of all time, the Father Tim/Mitford series by Jan Karon.
