Letter from Kimberly Rose Johnson

Dear Readers,

There are times in life when some things need to slide. You might have noticed that I’ve not been blogging like usual this year. The reason is, I’m working very hard to have five new books release in 2020. Two were completely written prior to 2020, and one was mostly written last year. I’m still working to add 10k words which will tie two books together into a new series I’m working on. LOL Sometimes I think it would have been easier to start over.

For much of my career as a writer I’ve written contemporary Christian romance, but after the release of Edge of Truth, my passion for romantic suspense was reignited. All but one book that I have slated for 2020 is either romantic suspense or romantic mystery.

The books will begin releasing June 1 and continue to release through October. Three will be a part of my Protection Inc. series, one will be book four in my Librarian Sleuth series, and the final one is going to be a contemporary romance Christmas novella.

I never intended to bite off so much, but I really want to try rapid releasing this new series, and I wanted to give my fans of contemporary romance a Christmas book. I know many of you don’t read suspense so this is important to me. Please pray I can manage it! I also committed to co-writing a screenplay with a friend. That should begin after everything else is written–whew!

On March 16th my newsletter subscribers will receive a cover reveal of the first new book I’m releasing this year. If you aren’t a subscriber be sure to subscribe so you will be in the know since I’ve had to cut back on my posts here.

Finally, I had the most exciting news last week. Two of my books are finalists in the Selah Awards. Edge of Truth in the Romantic Suspense category and The Sleuth’s Conundrum in the Mystery and Suspense category.

That’s all I have for now.

Take care,

Kimberly
