Love Finds you in Carmel by-the-Sea

Love Finds you in Carmel by-the-Sea was a delight, but struck me as very different than other books I’ve read by Sandra. The characters were younger than she usually writes and the humor wasn’t laugh-out-loud, however I still enjoyed it and found myself smiling many times throughout the book. I take books with me where ever I go to kill time while waiting for my kids, or appointments, and I observed a few people wondering what I was grinning about. If you are in the mood for an easy feel good read then this book is for you.

Annie Gray is laid off and lives in her grandmother’s attic. She decides to reinvent herself and makes a list of things to do to accomplish this feat. She lands a new job as a private investigator’s assistant and the adventure begins.
