OCW Conference
I attended the Oregon Christian Writers conference this week and was impressed with the quality of education and attending editors and agents. The conference was held at Aldersgate Conference Center just outside of Turner Oregon. The site was new for OCW and a challenge for many thanks to the steep climb to a residence lodge and a couple class rooms, but overall the place was excellent.
If you’re a writer, or even thinking about becoming one, Oregon Christian Writers put on a fantastic conference for both fiction and non-fiction writers. I’ve been attending conferences for six years now and this particular one is at the top of my “best” list.
If you don’t want to wait a year to attend a writers conference check out the ACFW national conference which takes place in September. Today is the last day to save $100.00 on registration, so hop on over to ACFW.com if you’re interested. I’ve been to three ACFW conferences and they are always stellar, but it is strictly a fiction conference.
Please check back Monday for my review of Code Blue. Until then have a great weekend!
