And Then There Were Two
The picture above was taken at Epcot this past holiday season. We escaped from Oregon to Florida and froze lol. In spite of the cold temperatures we had a wonderful time. It looks like this picture was taken on one of the two warm days we were there. 🙂
Son number two was home from college for three weeks. He flew back to school Saturday night. I will miss him but I’ll admit, I really do enjoy being an empty nester. I enjoy the quiet and only having to think up meals for two people. Although we treasured the time when our boys were kids and growing up, this is great too. There is a season for everything, and my husband and I have embraced being empty nesters.
Regardless of the season you are in I pray you can find joy regardless of the circumstance.Â
You might notice a change on my blog this year if you’ve been following for a long. I’m hoping to get some dialogue going, so I’ve cut way back on the number of books I will be telling you about. Every now and then I might post one, but for 2019 you can expect just about anything from me.
Where are you at in life? Single, just starting out as one half of a married couple, married for years, no kids, have kids, empty nester?
Whatever season you are in what is your favorite thing about it?
