Spring Has Sprung?

A couple of weeks ago we were blessed with sunshine and spring flowers. For all intents and purposes spring had sprung. However, the sunshine only lasted for a day. I’m still holding onto the hope of sunny days to come.

If you live in an area still being visited by winter, you have my sympathy.

We spent that one day of nice weather visiting a nursery. I was so excited to see flowers, herbs, and veggie starts–I’m not even a gardener.

I often say I have a black thumb, yet this year I’ve purchased four indoor plants in addition to the flowers, herbs and vegetable starts for my pots outside.

You might be wondering why a self-proclaimed plant killer would invest in plants. I wondered that myself and this is what I came up with.

I’m craving sunshine and all that it brings with it. Plants represent sunshine to me.
