Accused

Accused, a suspense, by Janice Cantore had me hooked on page one. But before I tell you about it, the winner of last weeks drawing for Dying to Read, is  Cynthia Lovely. Congratulations!

Police officer Carly Edwards’ life takes a dramatic twist after her temporary partner kills an unarmed man. She’s stuck working a desk job and would do about anything to get back to her old job. On her birthday she gets the call she’s been waiting for. Her presence is requested at the scene of a murder. She believes this is her big break, but things aren’t always what they seem. Corruption within the police department  threatens to destroy Carly and everyone she cares about.

I don’t want to spoil the story for you, so I won’t share any more.

A retired police officer, Cantore, delivers a believable and enjoyable novel filled with well developed characters. I really liked Accused and highly recommend it.
