For the Love of Snowmen
Have you ever wished you could use a Star Trek transporter to zap yourself to a different climate? I sure have! I’m dreading the sub-zero temps that are predicted for several days here in Montana. However, today I took advantage of the balmy 33 degrees and made a snowman. This past fall while working on a screenplay adapted from my book A Waltz for Amber, I had the idea of making a snowman and using a kit for the accessories. I found an inexpensive kit to have on hand for when my screenplay is made into a movie. Positive thinking at it’s finest. 🙂 Well, I decided to not wait…

Happy Thanksgiving
During uncertain times, it’s easy to focus on the negative but there is so much to be positive about. In the comments please tell me what you’re thankful for. Here’s my list: Family, friends, sunshine, books, movies, people who understand me, nature, my husband who cooks amazing and healthy meals for us, and most importantly Jesus. Last week I attended the ICVM Storytellers Conference in Franklin, TN. What a wonderful time of being with other creatives. I’m incredibly grateful I was able to attend this year. Now it’s your turn. What are you thankful for?

The Rhythm of Life
It’s no mystery to those who know me that I’m not a fan of snow, and yet I live in a state that is known for snow. We just had the first snowfall of the season at my house. It’s only a dusting, so not really a big deal, except I already miss the pretty blue sky and warmth from the sun which is now hidden by clouds. That being said, the flowers are still lovely and so pretty with a frosting of snow. Aren’t they beautiful?! I hope your week is as beautiful as these flowers. I encourage you to think positive and find beauty in the little things.
