Welcoming Spring or Not

Though spring isn’t my favorite season, I still look forward to it. There are so many reasons to like spring, but my favorite thing about spring is the flowers and more daylight. Who’s with me?

I noticed this patch of daffodils while on a walk. Aren’t they pretty? Do you have a favorite spring flower?

I thought I’d give you a quick update on my writing life. Dark Threat, book four in my Protection Inc. series is scheduled to release in June, but if I can get everything into place sooner, I will push up the date to some time in May. I spent three weeks in February focused on finishing Dark Threat. Then I went on to write the final book in the series. A Christmas novella titled Personal Threat.

According to beta readers, Personal Threat is a fast read and filled with all the suspense readers have come to expect in this series. I asked one beta reader if she felt gypped because it’s a novella. Here’s her reply, “It was perfect. Packed with everything tingly.” Having her tell me that made my day!

I’ll share more later about that book. In the meantime, enjoy spring!
