Life isn’t a Sprint, it’s a Journey #Writerslife
Recently I was asked for a quote so I scrolled through the files on my computer and ran across this one titled life isn’t a sprint, it’s a journey. When I first saw it, I thought it was an old blog post but when I opened it, I discovered the beginnings of a non-fiction book I started years ago.
The topic of taking care of yourself to be the best you can be emotional, physically, and spiritually has apparently been on my heart for many years. It seems to be a theme the Lord as laid on my heart.
Here is a portion of the introduction to that book:
We are all at different places in our life journey. In fact, we each have our own path to follow. Mine is not the same as yours. You are unique. Like a snowflake, each of us is special and unlike any other.
As you go through your day and on into your week I pray you remember that you are special. There is no one else like you. Here’s another thing I say a lot, to my older son. You are the CEO of your life. Live life to your fullest potential.

Love that you that want your reader to love who God created them to be and you did it without long winded wording and $10 words.
This was the same message our pastor gave us yesterday at our small church.
Finish it for all the people that doubt their worth.
